• Drying: relatively slow and delicate by the strong anisotropy (fissions and warping).
• Finish: get well paints, varnishes and polish, then getting a perfect finish.
• Bonding: glue satisfactorily; samblagem easy and relatively strong.

• Common Joinery: particularly in the manufacture of delicate pieces of furniture style.
• Decorations: interior furnishing.
• Other: wainscoting, turned objects, drawing items, veneers and plywood for buildings.
