MULTILAYER pavement is a masterpiece in engineering as it allows rationalization of wood (reduced environmental impact) while reducing variations subsequent to exposure to humidity.

Family: Bignoniaceae
Botanical name: Tabebuia spp.
Trademarks: Ipe (Eng.); Iron wood (Ing.); Ebene verte (Fr.); Pau d'arco; Amapa prieta.
Durability: durable wood. It is not susceptible to attack by fungi and borers.
Technological properties:
• Workability: very hard to cut wood.
• Drying: slow, no major risk of deformation and cracking.
• Finish: allows good finishes.
• Bonding: delicate.
